The United Nations has recognized caste-based discrimination as a form of discrimination that needs to be addressed 1. The Indian Constitution also prohibits discrimination based on caste 2.

The Bible teaches that all people are created in the image of God and that we should treat others as we would like to be treated. In Galatians 3:28, it says “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” This verse emphasizes the importance of treating all people equally and not discriminating based on social status.

Casteism is a sin that goes against the teachings of the Bible. We should work together to end this practice and promote equality and justice for all people. As it says in Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
